Also if anybody here’s planning on doing extreme, do NOT pick the N Corp one, it has Pequod Trio as the first fight in a 3 wave bossrush.
Easily the most dangerous bossfight you could get in extreme.
Impossible path also contains the big wrath monsters and their instakill counters so dodge that if possible, but its more doable.
If you get a strong team going, frankly the invader fights are a free extremely powerful buff that guarantees you win the rest of extreme.

Faith and Fragment are 100% must-haves for completing extreme mode with any consistency.
With those I went an entire run week-before-last without needing to restart a single fight.
I had to do one reset last week, and I’m starting another extreme run right now.
on my md runs i only go with “i wonder what team i shall use and just fuck it we ball” as far as i can then done
That’s what I was doing until I started this lol.
The Rupture/Poise hybrid team has been my go-to for clearing the insanity that is 50 adversity extreme. (we love instantly clearing 10 levels of the mirror dungeon missions instantly and not needing to worry about insane dumb quests)
Snag literally every blessing, and if you have a powerful team leader (IE: Lord Hong Lu), snag darkflame, manor box, and blessing from gift search to make that team leader border on unkillable.
If you spend literally all of the possible starlight you can, 50 adversities should put you in a net positive regardless.
Out of the two though, fragment is the one that you should go for above faith, since it affects every attack skill you have.
Faith is good if you are using a lot of egos or you picked the “lose sanity every turn” adversity, but if you aren’t losing sanity it’s nowhere near as helpful.
That is exactly why I say its a must-have.
50 adversity is much much harder without it.
It is good that it’s finally getting it’s time to shine, considering that it’s effect is really good anywhere except the mirror dungeon (outside of the occasional rare situation such as a failed check that caused people to lose sanity)
Now though, it at least has a definite use
Just beat jetstream Sam and I did have faith gift before the fight anyways any recommendations for ego gifts? Before the main fight
Honestly N-corpers aren’t that bad as long as you got good damage outputs before you go fight them
I’ve ran it multiple times mainly on floors 11 - 13, it gets dangerous on floors 14 and 15. I’d say all you need is that contract gift to obliterate starbuck and it should be smooth sailing from there (including if you have lunar memory by floor 11)
Though the most dangerous person out of all of them is the Ncorp gun ego guy which he used his max weight skill on me and it did over 2,400 DAMAGE to my sinners so he’s gonna be a damage-check if you don’t kill him within 3 turns but overall N-corp is really easy as long as you got good preparation to do so unlike last time when I did it for the first time my heishou got obliterated because I didn’t have mirror of relationship/picked mounting trials that were base/final/offense level higher than defense level/the most required gifts for defense/offense level down
I just bodied those guys without a sweat
