every single boss in the story becomes trivial at worst with this monster of an identity on your team it is ridiculous how easy he is capable of annihilating enemies

She’s really good if you’re building an envy team.
Her gimmick needs 6 envy reson frequently for her counters to activate and her skill 3 to let her ramp up.
If you just need a generalist, grab literally any of the other new characters lol.
If all else fails, just wait about a week and grab index yi sang to have the funny 9 coin skill that rolls 30 without conditionals.

what sorta team you running?
For good generalist picks for ishmael, I’d suggest nabbing:
Pequod (benefits from pride reson greatly even at low resonance amounts)
Kurokumo (pair with other kurokumos especially heathcliff for the bleed infliction duo of the game)
Molar (The sinking count nuker before knight rodya)
whatever has the highest damage and clash rate, i’m too poor for synergizing teams rn
Yea that’s fair, luckily most of them only require minimal team cohesion to be solid.
Pequod only needs a little bit of consistent resonance for her S2s to do their funny gimmick.
Kurokumo only needs one other kurokumo character (ideally heathcliff)
Molar just inflicts sinking and is count positive or neutral on literally anything because of her passive. Sinking is good against any boss with SP because making your enemies roll like shit is never going to be bad for you.

I’d probably go with Reindeer Ish.
Reindeer has a lack of damage multipliers, so you won’t see too much damage from her. But she doesn’t quite have a gimmick that determines how you can use it. Her rolls are pretty good too; Skill 1 rolls up to a 14, Skill 2 rolls up to an 18, Skill 3 rolls up to 26, and evade up to 14. Reindeer is arguably the most general id she has. Just make sure you have enough charge before using her skill 3.
The reason I didn’t suggest her is because she just… doesn’t have a gimmick at all!
Having something that atleast can benefit from your team composition with minimal investment is generally going to be better for you.
Like pequod will be giving you extra attacks unless you deliberately play in a way that ensures you don’t, and that’s free extra value.
Reindeer doesn’t have any effects that grant extra value like that, all of her gimmicks are actively detrimental to you lol.
I know, but reindeer does her job well enough. She’s not going to be killing you unless if you’re actively spamming the autobattle thing without checking her charge. And when it comes to pequod ish, the free skill 1 is neat but how her sanity mechanic works gets really annoying at times.
