How did Durza kill 80% of humanity if he couldn’t possibly see 80% of humanity? The only person he saw was Theos, everyone else was out of his line of sight, yet he still killed 80% of people!
Therefore, this change makes no sense in the lore, and someone ought to tell that to Vetex, who will surely erase this change from history when he hears that!

also since imbued attacks now make rubble, it’s also a screw you to any solid magic hybrids

also anything that destroys terrain is at a major disadvantage as well, since hitting enemies in a hole is extremely annoying (look at the fort castrum raid)

Blind fold is meta now it breaks all line of sight since you’re blind
It’s actually the opposite of meta because you lose line of sight of all enemies, so they take no damage from you
If we really need LoS for enemy fights to be fair (which, with the current system, is NOT true), then why not make it so that enemies also need LoS for their attacks to hit the player as well?
It’d also be nice to have a visual indicator of when an attack won’t hit due to LoS, because a lot of the time an attack looks like it should hit, only for it to reach the target and do nothing.
It’s just not a fun feature and a poor way to prevent cheesing, if it’s not fixed up, or at least reverted, this update is gonna suuuuck

Tbf im joking about it but i dont run into it enough currently to know how bad this will be
Best way to imagine it: say that you’re attacked by an Atlantean Brig and you sink it. All of those enemies on-board can’t be damaged if they aggro onto you and have trouble climbing up onto your ship, can have LoS broken if you stay up high and have attacks rain down on them (which is nearly necessary for the captain and quartermaster), and if they get stuck in the Captain’s Quarters or under the stairs, you literally can’t do anything to them even though they also can’t do anything to you.
This was actually in-game at one point btw.
what if there was a system that is kinda like LoS but it’s only obstructed by certain specific parts
then you can have tower npcs not take damage from if you try to hit them from the floor below, but then you don’t have stupid things like rubble making you lose out on damage
idk if that is even a thing you can do, but it’d be better than just adding LoS to all npcs
So sea battles are going suck here on out now huh
