Don’t enemies have actual path finding now? Why do we need the LOS mechanic for anti cheese when everything is gonna start actually going around the corners/walls now
If the LOS mechanic excluded specific moves (Anything where the literal gimmick is that it pierces the terrain) i “might” be fine (Depends on how buggy/annoying it gets), but unfortunately it affects everything so i am certainly not fine
for someone obsessed with lore > any qol of gameplay reason, weird that he didnt give us the same advantage LoS, at this point just fully rework how proj work
Yeah it’s weird and using the whole lore > gameplay. If my shot can’t break a wall it shouldn’t be able to hurt the person on the other side, okay that’s fair. The same should be true for my opponent.
If my shot can break and pierce walls. We should be able to dmg eachother
This leads to the conclusion that we’re actually only using our eyes to agressively stare down and mentally scar our opponents, the attacks are just a visual effect, a byproduct of our minds’ rationalization
Another issue with the line of sight thing even though frankly I think we all already collectively agree it’s stupid is that homing moves will be utterly useless for banking attacks around corners, which would normally be one of their biggest strengths.
