List of bugs that really should be fixed but haven't for some reason

yeah but sadly we are gonna have to wait for another 5-6 months for that to be added to the game

That might have to deal with either the game still registering knockback and therefore keeping the player from moving, or the player’s loss of mobility is because the game doesn’t recognize the ground as ground, suddenly.
No actual clue what kinda thing happens to make it happen, but it could also be that they have a broken “frozen” state, too, which is supposed to make characters unable to move.

Or Vetex just did the common sin of “< and not =<”, causing a myriad of bugs based on timers and lag.

Does that mean this will be fixed in full release ?

anyway, here’s a few more

  • Dark Sea ship crews sometimes unload, making it impossible to “ship looting tip” them (stopping it by killing the crew) and also causing you to get no rewards if you take the effort to sink it, since there’s nobody to kill to get the chests to spawn. (you pretty much HAVE to run)

  • Mortars can’t be aimed through ships which makes it nearly impossible to actually aim ahead of a ship like you need to to land them (and also makes it a nightmare just trying to aim past your own sails)

  • Poison & Ash clouds only deal a single tick of damage before breaking and becoming harmless.

  • Setting the amount of meals you want to bulk cook higher than you have the materials for often voids all the ingredients without giving you anything in the new cooking menu.

  • Waves can still sweep Players off even if they literally just formed and can’t harm a ship yet.

  • Mobility skills like Soaring Eagle are completely overruled by the animation for mantling a ledge (which happens quite often on broken terrain)

  • Boss movement becomes extremely jittery when there’s multiple players involved.
(When I was progressing my 5th slot I fought Lord Elius alone for the first time and I was surprised at how slow and readable his attack cycle is, the janky multiplayer fight was the only one I’d ever known)

  • Shark AI has a painful tendency to just completely shut off and leave the shark utterly motionless underwater. (this is horrible with the Shark Hunting update, as all rewards are cut down to 1/3 if you kill them with anything other than a ship attachment, and it’s nigh impossible to hit an underwater target with one of those)

  • The Ravenna disguise doesn’t get applied nor taken if you’re on the ship’s wheel. (Since this is usually where the player is when entering / exiting Ravenna, it means they tend to not get the disguise when they actually need it and then it tends to linger when not needed.)

  • The Ravenna disguise saves if you leave the game in Ravenna, sometimes requiring you to sail back there to get rid of it.

  • Fort Castrum enemies have a tendency to spawn deep into the terrain where they can’t be damaged due to line of sight checks and often require a revealing potion and a lot of digging to deal with.

  • Enemy AI seemingly cannot pathfind around corners and frequently get stuck on bits of broken terrain

  • at ~i3 and beyond, Roblox farlands distortion begins to mess with the directions sounds come from which makes it impossible to locate Siren Rocks by ear. (perhaps this isn’t Vetex’s fault but I’m pointing it out here anyway)

  • Ice debris completely immobilizes any brig it lands on

  • Revealing visuals don’t always clear on chests you open (which makes diving spots become a pain)

Some of these probably need more testing but that’s just a few I can list off of memory

You simply have to update your location while not holding any position on your ship, just sail close to windrow, hop on so the name appears and hop back off
