Look at this lil' goober

I saw this little goofball crawling around my garage, so I took it in.

Context:
This is a baby Blue-Tongued skink/lizard.
So basically in my garden there is a blue tongue lizard that made themselves quite at home (you’ll still have to look to find it).
I’m pretty sure it got too comfortable and laid eggs.
So yeah, now you have this goober.
I’m feeding him a bit of food and water, and I’ll release him tomorrow. I believe raising themselves in the wild is much better than raising it myself. I’ll let this little guy reunite with his mother.

Truly an Australian nature moment.

The one thing that doesn’t kill you in australia?

the goober has been imprisoned

I shall call him Edwardo

he is so PHAT!!!

In slavic countries you don’t catch the lizards, the lizards catch YOU.

Ooh ever saw babies before. Def saw grown up ones and saw them on several occasions at the back of my house. One time, one was underneath the washing machine.

…Actually, that mightve been the same one…?

That was years ago, I moved places and the house where I am is very close to the one I lived then, and I think I only saw one near the car. (Yes Im also in Australia)

They seemed pretty chill though. I think.

Yeah I’ve never seen infant ones except today.
OH WAIT SHOOT I SHOULD HAVE MEASURED IT!

I get that feeling every single time I see one, so I just treat it like the same.

FINALLY! ANOTHER FELLOW AUSTRALIAN!

Yeah they are chill. This baby one licked my hand a few times and it threw me into a frenzy and I spent 5 whole minutes washing my hands repetitively
