Lore Connections Before the Player's Story Begins

I’m a lore fanatic, you all know the “Breaking of the Sky” during this assault King Orion Anavasi grandfather of Allanon bearer of the Wave Curse is killed in my opinion by a devourer used by General Zaix of Ravenna who then took the Wave Curse and then there is the Glass Curse that had been stolen from Castle Ivoris and in my opinion it was either taken at that time by General Julian or it was somehow preserved to then make him absorb it we know that among the intruders there was a Curse User with destructive power and if we do the math we understand that it is necessarily King Nero who together with Zaix and perhaps Julian and other elite soldiers of Ravenna attacked Skyhall to take more power and make Ravenna even more powerful we then know that after a few years from that event in Allanon a Navy figure reported that the intruders were from Winterveil but why? Well the most logical explanation is that to defend herself Ravenna sent one of her trusted men to pretend to be from the Grand Navy and blame the Rival Kingdom of Winterveil, after which King Boreas of Winterveil is challenged to a duel with King Nero who, despite having the same level of strength, kills him with his curse. King Nero flies towards Winterveil, probably an island similar to Frostmill but larger and with a city similar to Snoriven or WindCrest. This island is completely destroyed by King Nero’s curse which leads to the extermination of the inhabitants and subsequently their hunt. Meanwhile, at “Fort Gloam”, Winterveil’s naval base, Neviro’s uncle and son of King Boreas resists for a few days and then ends up being killed. Meanwhile, King Boreas’s other son, Neviro’s father, escapes with Neviro’s mother. Neviro and his brothers manage to save themselves except for the father who is later killed too. It is not known what happens to the brothers and the mother. of.neviro that maybe they are still around but from how Neviro seems to be settling in and from how he behaves it seems that they are dead also Winterveil had two Curses the Darkness Curse that Neviro inherited but can not use and the Cloud Curse of Beringer father of Iris who however dies tortured by the Order of Aesir subsequently the kingdoms unite against King Nero and so the navy decides to keep him under strict custody somewhere in the War Seas and King Ceasar passes to the throne who however finds himself facing the nearby enemy of the Thorne Empire who attacks the merchant city of Cassia Town bombing it and putting into combat some of his strongest men like the bearer of the Slash Curse who manages to kill Zaix and the other female general well holy 2v1 has really fullboxed them for sure and very strong and then here King Ceasar is killed but Thorne Empire they saw something unpleasant probably King Ceasar who uses the minecraft totem and becomes a zombie Thorne is Disgusted and retreats, I don’t think so. He wants to return to the Bronze Sea anymore. Unless the decision is made by a new king who doesn’t know what he’ll find on the first island he comes across when he arrives from his sea, one thing I would have liked to know is what kind of relationship Thorne and Winterveil had with the Empire. It could be that Thorne was an enemy of both, or that he was trading with Winterveil and that he decided to attack Ravenna only after Winterveil was exterminated, or they were allies because they are really very close. Winterveil would have been near the border of the Bronze Sea with that of the Thorne Empire, so it would have been good for them to be allies. In that case, Thorne would have attacked because of the loss of the allied kingdom and the possible rivalry with Ravenna, which was starting to have more power and become stronger. In short, I would say that in all three cases, Thorne wanted to put Ravenna in its place.

it’s explained in game sonion

they can be moved, thats how sea curses get stored in the first place, its not like they just built around the sea curse or the sea curse magically shot into their treasure room

the great wall of text

Here I found your line breaks

what.

Probably not its actual name, just like Blasted Rock wasn’t always called that.

Gloam Ruins is probably just Silas going “hm these ruins seem very gloamy what should I call them” since he couldn’t have possibly known of the original name.

Makes me wonder even more why everybody in the Bronze Sea addresses the island southwest from Frostmill as Thorin’s Refuge. “Yeah, I’m hiding here from the Grand Navy, don’t tell anyone” - sir, even Agora will mention you by name if anything happens near your island.

How? With oven mittens? Or with wasting a devourer to first poke the cube to absorb it, then smash the sword into pieces inside the vault?

possibly, but more realistically probably with ropes and carts then brought onto a ship then ropes and carts again

the swords get destroyed once they absorb the curse which releases the curse where they got destroyed

Well, the Grand Navy somehow consistently fails to notice a constant shit ton of pirate ships as well as suspicious red and black ships with Assassin syndicate sails sailing towards Whitesummit so they can’t be that competent

beings of magical energy can only take curses I think, so contact with literally anything else would just make the curse move

So, they can only pull out the cube from a person and break right after, leaving the said cube in the close vicinity of the previous holder and the wielder of the past devourer?

Yeah, that’s how they work.

that is what we were told, yes

this also always kills the curse user, the death can only be delayed through potions as we saw with beringer

now that I think about it, was it even explained how to qualify for a curse? Like do you need to have the magic the curse has, does it override your previous magic, or can you use the curse if it is an upgrade of your previous magic? Might be obvious but I don’t really know.

you just touch it and you get it

There’s no real qualifications, you just touch it and then have it.

If I remember correctly, you can use your old magic but it’s really straining on you and takes a lot of energy for much less effect so there’s no reason to.

I’m sorry but I can’t read this big text mattress

isn’t it like if you have the same magic as the curse you can use it fine?
