I am and always will be an unironic arcane alien believer. Even if they don’t end up being the unknown entity I will never doubt that they exist among the stars. The gods were created and placed on Earth to watch over it. Unless there’s something super special about Earth that warrants the creation of the watchers by literal cosmic entities, then why would Chaos/Creation only place said watchers on a single planet when there’s literal trillions out there in the universe they created?
Then we can have a sci-fi Arcane game set 2000+ years after AA/AO, call it Universe of Magic
