Vetex stated that War Seas is on opposite side of the world from Seven Seas.
We kno for a fact that WS is located between Othrys and Olympus, so using any online tool to see opposite part of the world, we can see that its around somewhere right of NZ
it doesnt have to be on the exact opposite, he could have just meant on the opposite half of the world
what’s the unnamed cluster? it’s not in the “Explonation”.
Does this mean the dragon cluster is the aberration?
apparently the fifth sea cluster, no name known
aberration is probably just at the far south of the war seas, or is midway between war seas and dragon seas
The one you’re looking for as earth here would actually be hades, not pan. The issue is hades is evil in ao for some reason so Vetex had to ignore him
yeah and also hes still alive so we cant really take his soul
Peacekeeper is about to fix that
The fuck is bumkeeper going to do…
fuuuck wait, he got this in the bag
Kill Hades and learn how to delete the curses
Forgot about the lore doc….
- Lore drop thread
- Person on said thread forgets about Lore doc
Though fair enough, not even good lord knows what the actual canon is anymore.
I wonder how this all works out ecologically.
Whenever the Earth was historically covered in clouds of ash or atmospheric conditions limited the amount of sunlight the surface of the Earth could receive ecological disaster would always follow.
When Mount Tambora erupted in 1815 it caused the Year Without a Summer.
It is theorized that volcanic activity may have been responsible for the Little Ice Age as well:
Obviously climate change is a little more complex than volcanic activity and ash, but does Vetex mean to tell us that the ENTIRE EARTH is surrounded by dense magic clouds and global temperatures are still somehow stable? How did plant life adapt to the sun being blotted out? Assuming photosynthetic life forms died across the surface of the Earth it would be a calamity of epic proportions.
So, I guess I can sum up my question as: How does blotting out the sun across most of the Earth not fuck everything up? Did plant life in the Dark Sea adapt to use magic energy to produce oxygen?
So in the athenas pages we get the information of hecate’s soul is keeping dark sea from expanding into sea cluster althought there is no knowledge i think we can theorize it as
Hecate’s soul affects as atmospherical level shield which mean it allows sun to pass throught and filter other dark sea related stuff
And for dark sea part to my knowledge it just magic fuckery mutations as such
Sunlight still not being able to reach the rest of the surface of the Earth is the issue here. Sure, the war seas get sunlight but if the rest of the Earth does not it would almost certainly cause an ice age.
Maybe magic energy generates some amount of heat? Even then that wouldn’t explain the survival of photosynthetic plants.
Maybe the plants instead started using magic as their primary source of energy?
Probably the reason for their weird look
Yeah that was my guess as well, maybe plants learned to use magic energy instead of sunlight to survive.
Maybe magic energy plays the exact same role so the photosynthetic process stays in tact and still yields oxygen?
Yeah, it’s a lot of what ifs but it’s possible. It’s pretty crazy that nobody’s mentioned the effects of the Dark Sea on Earth’s climate lol.
tons of moving energy and potential energy creates a melting point of abominations in the dark sea, it’s also kinda why it’s but booty pain to travel through. Horrible storms and weather, and combined with changes in seasons soo *insane* it kinda works ecologically, with some magic/hecate mumbo jumbo.
But yeah on the topic of ice age, Dark sea would just be super fucking hot because magic atoms just bounce off everywhere. Think of like the Mojave Desert in California, that type of hot, or some regions being as hot as like the Sahara.
