Well, that may have been an oversight on my part, but I feel like it’s still in the realm of having “Human Magic”. If we get meat magic, I’ll humor dragon magic as a possibility, but it’s still really cool.

Dragons in AO don’t specifically breathe fire though, they have a single magic, and as cool as dragonfire would be as a magic, dragons are creatures, and creature magics ain’t quite a thing.

We have phoenix magic. It doesn’t involve the actual bird that is the phoenix, but it exists. If phoenix magic can exist, so can a hypothetical dragonfire magic if it’s not related to actual dragons or anything like that

Creature magic sounds like more of a Spirit Energy thing with the updated lore doc. Since they get biomancy and all that. I have a character who can sprout animal parts and weaponize them, from ram horns to toxic jellyfish hair.
I’m not advocating for the existence of a dragonfire magic or whatever, I don’t really care about that. just pointing out that if phoenix can exist, it can too.
also that statement about it basically just being phoenix 2 is just wrong, even if I’m trying to be objective here, since phoenix has unique properties that wouldn’t all collectively appear in a new magic unless a copy of phoenix magic was specifically what they were going for (in which I have enough faith in Vetex to avoid doing THAT much at the very least)
