so a magic that’s basically just the root of pure magic energy

wasn’t poseidon the only known one still alive who could manipulate his own pure magic energy into something usable? i’m pretty sure only the gods, the very founders of magic are capable of wielding something like this without just flat out dying, there was a whole era back then where humanity struggled to use magic regularly as it’d harm their mana cores too much, that’s the whole point of the magic circle

i mean there’s promethean fire as a primordial, the pinnacle of all fire magic blessed with the shepherd of magic himself, anythings possible i guess

a titular magic associated with the arcane series would be nice, but i always saw the word ‘arcane’ as something unknown, a mystery or secret waiting to be unfolded

Its a unknown magic. The way I like to think about it is that its like our brains. Sure we live with it all the time, but we don’t understand it

This type of “Arcane” magic is like a copy of what it would do, and that’s why it causes insanity. Just like how Promethean fire ISNT actual promethean fire, Arcane magic ISNT actual pure magic, just a copy

according to tech,
poseidon didn’t actually have the stormcloud curse and his will was powerful enough to move the weather and shit

meaning poseidon “magic” was likely just him exerting his will on magic energy itself, meaning it wouldn’t actually be a possible magic for mortals to wield.

at most only someone like freedrock would be capable of something similar
