it’s a lost magic, doesn’t necessarily affect base magic choices much. It’s like saying nobody will go snow cause blizzard magic exists or nobody will go lightning cause electron and blaze exist. Lost magics are supposed to be more powerful than base magics

Losts being more powerful doesn’t mean base magics are useless, you still use base magics for the first 300-600 levels of the game. Lost magics are simply a power up.
We don’t know anything about flare’s stats, other than its synergies and the fact that it has a stackable DoT
Does it not make sense why a magic that requires 600 stat points would be more powerful than a magic unlocked at level 1? Obviously lost magics will be balanced relative to each other and the losts of other stat routes
