the larger the spell the less damge it do it is kinda the basis for most attacks-
it’s an odd behaviour but I guess it could work
it does make trapeze more utility based rather than offense/cheese which I did want originally for the spell (utility, not offense)
Cheese is never a good idea imo, it’s the same reason why balancing is trying to make hazard magics viable without their hazards, to really make hazards a bonus and not a cheesy win condition
Is this what you’re looking for?
Basically, the blue arrow is the direction you’re aiming.
And the black arrow is the aimbot direction I guess?
well it seems the argument has been solved with both sides in agreement
I’ll add the new “dilution” effect in the suggestion later today if I remember to do so
Me personally I liked the original idea because of how op it was (So I could bully people low levels) But the balanced mirror version made by the other guy would be a nice addition to PvP. Although I do wish there were more setplay type of moves in this game.
good, I can on to bully Calvus at the lowest level possible
Yeah the idea of constructs is nice but they need to have a drawback
seems like a fairly solid spell now ngl
the first setplay type spell in AO
I’d want to give that role to Wardens since they’d be unique and the drawback would make them lose their health as a result.
Wardens are gonna mirror Warriors the same way Strenght mirrors Magic
Moving forward this should be the benchmark for any lost spell suggestions. Absolutely cooked.
Aiming directly at someond isn’t that hard, its the fact that they can move that makes it difficult
yeah, but the original idea basically made projectiles a guaranteed positive trade with an active barrier
The most problematic thing i see with this spell is the mage taking advantage of endlag while you try to break the barriers but idk
Ye I mentionned that too
aha funny spell go boioioioioing
