This would be awesome, you should only make it to where you can not just toggle it but you can toggle it to certain weapons I personally like the Kai Sabre on my character because of the way it looks kind of like demon slayer but I don’t like the other 2 weapons.

you need to wait ten heartbeats before you are allowed to draw the weapon

I mean you could also size up the opponent and plan before the fight starts if you are jumping them based on their weapons

I mean i get it, there is the technical aspect of knowing what your opponent can do that is pretty valid. I just think it’s a bit of overkill and not enough of a reason to justify not having a feature tons of people have been asking for…

Either way, someone suggested something that i found genius: using the upcoming “sensing” would display any hidden weapons.

I set it as:

  • All off

  • All on

  • Only last one equipped on

But ideally yeah, it would be better if you could toggle per weapon slot instead

jumping people is boring as fuck though

Thanks WW, was about to say sm similar

Jumping is not a fun experience for anyone… 9 out of 10 the guy you’re jumping will just make a run for it. So you ruin someone else’s game to be frustrated yourself

it’s just revenge

good series that one

Honestly a really cool and creative idea

Honestly I just feel like warrior is supposed to have a lot of weapons on him.
He is not a magic user, aura is already a stretch to make some gameplay more lore-reasonable.
If absolutely necessary, I would personally prefer an enchanted bag to a random inventory skill, since the whole concept of warrior is also being a “tool user”.

With conjurer and and knight honestly I think that it’s a bit of a waste not making weapons invisible while not equipped, something very easily done, since it actually already happens with certain bugs and with equip vanity.

Once equipped the weapons would appear, making it seems like:

  • a conjurer “conjured” them (maybe leave them incorporeal, with a magic halo around them, neutral when not imbued or with their own magic effect otherwise)
  • a knight summoned them (you know, the troupe of summoning holy weapons, ecc)

I mean this witht he utmost respect, but I believe that’s a fundamental misunderstanding of the lore by you…

Everyone, regardless of class, uses magic. Weapon aura is not there for parity, it is there to show us that even weapon users still use magic.

Awakening is akin to a cultivator’s breakthrough. It’s the bottleneck in your training that filters out the aspects of your magic you’re not using to favor those you’ve been using throughout your journey.

A weapon user is no less magical than a magic user, it’s just that a magic user decided to prioritize the uniqueness of their magic (their element) while a weapon user decided to prioritize the utility of it (range and pressure).

And even if you think the magic fold as i described is a little too much, it could still work as a universal passive you can learn from the vanishing style master since everyone can wield that trace amount of latent magic to some extent.

But i do understand your concern as having your weapons on you may be part of the class identity. Past a certain point it is more clutter than anything. Clutter other classes are not affected by

This addition sounds really cool, but if i were to add on the toggleability

Maybe after you acquired this feature, the vanity equips eye icon would appear on your weapon slot.

(This thinggy)

So that you can change what remain on your character and what would be pull out of your magic portal.

That way it would add some simplicity and for some people (me) who sometime have one weapon that fit with the character while other two are not.

This would be ideal, yeah

I wanted to move past the usual “add vanity toggle to weapons” because that’s the obvious solution, and if the obvious solution wasn’t added it’s probably lacking something

But that’s just a symptom of my overthinking joke of a brain
