all builds will be balanced
Im pretty sure he meant already known magic like:
Storm = Wind + Lightning
Equinox = Light + Shadow
Lunar = Light + Water
Aether-Lightning = Aether + Lightning
Posion-Lightning = Poison + Lightning.
losts and ancients are found from scrolls tho, not by combining your magics
What i meant, is im pretty sure what they’ve meant, is general fusion of magics, which are magic that i listed. Magic fusion as imbuement wont be a thing, cause its too complicated.
it doesn’t seem too complicated, warlocks and conjurers can already do it
nah, let him cook
Imbueing and combination are 2 different thing. And twitter says “Combination magic” and Storm, Aether Lighting, Poison Lightning, Equinox ARE combination magic
blizzard and frostmetal too
Most magics are upgrades of base ones, or mixes of several magics.
I was sure he meant combining two magics since he talked about the same idea in the QnA but I viewed it as “Oh he meant a grab”. Now I believe he means combining two magics to instantly proc stuff like paralyzed or frozen and create things like a steam magic of sorts
water ice mages be very very happy
sailor style + ice:
sunken sword + ice:
thermo + ash:
sailor style + lightning:
sunken sword + lightning:
there’s plenty of non-stun combos too that builds can already insta proc
I think it’s probably gonna be dual spells or smth that give the effects of both of your magics, which would allow people to do insta frozen/insta paralyzed/insta petrified. I imagine a downside to this would be that it used a LARGE chunk of energy to cast since you’re essentially casting two magic spells at once.
they mentioned the unison raid from fairy tail, which is combining two magics into one attack
also the way imbueing works does fit the definition of combination
Man, you have synergies
Us berserkers basicly have nothin
I closed mage(500%), i closed Warrior (100%) and rn playing berserk, and yeah, they suck indeed
The idea of its being a spell sounds more like it, but then it technically should combine effects of ALL of your magics, not just 2. So if you are post-2nd-awakening mage, that spell would combine 3 status effects
I would honestly trade the +10% damage buff for something simular to warlord but imbuing each other fighting style
