This long ass, literally months long arguement feels like a battle between two wizards in real life.

i cant believe the fact that people genuinely think everyone having the power to shoot fucking lightning bolts would be better for humanity
idk would be pretty sick I could just blow up my landlord when they ask for rent 
i am supposed to bump what i want to bump… as mandated by me…
if nothing else it’d be funny to see society with magic just to see all the social institutions built up over millenia of civilization crumble
not that it’d be better for us or anything, but it’d be a little cathartic

Magic is not inherently bad because it’s simply a form of energy without a will of its own
Magic is bad for humanity because humans are far from perfect and are capable of doing bad things
