Magic Shower Thought 4:

How do characters survive 2000 years? Durza, Theos, Averill, Arsen, and Peacekeeper.

It’s because of their curses, isn’t it?

As I know, curses grant imortality.

curses make you immoral and theos was super op and he lived only nearly 1000 years, the more powerful of a mage the longer you live.

Curse users are immortal, Wizards a slightly different. Wizards still age like normal humans, they don’t stay children for 100 years, instead, any internal or external damage is prevented by how fast wizards heal. If your kidney starts failing, it just heals, greatly extending their lifespan. more power = faster regen. Wizards like theos will still die, the player ( not the peacekeeper ) will likely die unless primordial or awakened magics act like curses.

so wizards literally cannot get sick

Im not really sure, you could get infected in arcane, but it was far shorter than a real infection, and i only slightly remember the sea plagues. Diseases do exist, Theos’s wife died of a virus.

weird. prob magic viruses and diseases

disease and conditions are still a thing but magic does play a lot into that, theos’ wife passed to an incurable disease, and so did kraken’s wife and younger son, too

theos had phoenix magic, he could basically cure himself of anything and extend his lifespan much longer than any other wizard

people like averill and arsen, are truly immortal, they can turn into their element at will and are basically immune to all disease

durza completely ditched his weak brittle mortal human body thing and became a living walking mana core so that’s not a thing for him either

people like the peacekeeper though, they may be immortal, but their curse doesn’t work like others do as they can’t turn into absorption and stuff

the peacekeeper is immortal, but there is the off chance of them getting sick. but the peacekeeper has theos’ staff, the last font of theos’ phoenix magic, which could theoretically cure them just as theos was able to. they also have many other magics that could work to cure them and its a long story. peacekeeper can get sick, but not for long

I also just remembered the long lost AA trello and found the virus page: https://trello.com/c/c0ppNY1v/73-viruses-l

nah he can have little familiars that can shapeshift (at least in the comic)
his true form is more amalgamated and twisted but still human-like

And this, https://trello.com/c/CKmVhmQO/55-known-curses-and-their-users-for-reference

If you know League of Legends, I would say that description is more like Xerath. I can also compare it to the Force in Star Wars but that is a reach.

The guy is energy. Like a huge gas cloud people have made in the game but is plasma like. That’s my assumption.

Also, looks like Vetex already had the idea for primordials 2 years ago, likely different from the world of magic version, but they did exist.Sword

That’s… solar magic. Red and white fire. It’s a lost magic now tho.

The fact that its called primordial suggests that primordial scrolls might have been a very late game idea for arcane. Though that’s unlikely, its strange because of the wording it shares.

Theos would fucking destroy you so fucking hard without even using 2/10 of his power

Quick question, is the sword that Captain Spade used the Dawnbringer or something similar to that

it’s an old chipped sword that was said to be wielded by an ancient swordsman
it has some untapped primordial magic that resembled a superheated wind but spade often used it to channel his flare magic as he couldn’t really tap into said primordial magic
