What exactly do magic tiers do? And can lost/ancient magics go past tier 1?
they mainly just increase the size i think, losts and ancients will probably have them too
They increase the size and visual effects of attacks, and I believe they reduce the energy cost as well
Lost and ancients will likely increase in tiers, just at very high levels
is there a spreadsheet for the tier requirements of spells, techniques and weapon skills?
I haven’t seen any posted, and I’m not sure myself. I’ve heard from @Meta that mages get tier 3 blasts around 150 magic, so maybe he knows the other requirements as well
ohhhhh metttaaaaa
where’d we even find the words “magic teir”
i dont remember seeing it ingame…
Can be found looking at the patch notes, it’s also a thing that existed in AA (although it was more noticeable there than in WoM/AO). If you’re a mage, you’ll notice that your second magic is smaller and has less visuals than your first magic, same as if you compare a conjurer or warlock’s magic to a mage’s. It’s basically the reason high level attacks on pure builds tend to look larger and more powerful.
ye i noticed my 1st magic got bigger shots
