Keeping as a memento of the previous game, or because you at the time knew you would never be able to reobtain them. Not the devs’ fault you decided to sell them for a quick galleon.
Thats fair, but when ao just released galleons were vital for progression because nobody had caravels or ketches yet unless they specifically grinded galleons for it or sold items in their inv (magius relics being perfect for that). But like i said, if you had some emotional attachment to them then fair enough
Former i already adressed (emotional value), latter point is literally useless though? Legit their only purpose was to be sold bro
You can’t be fr abt inventory clutter, it’s a seasonal
I’m in agreeance that the Magius Relic is a terrible payback and it would’ve been less of a negative impact to just not give anything because it’s a new game.
Though if I had to come up with a reward, I’d just make it vanity versions of the items.
And if it were me, I also would have created weapon vanity by now.
They cannot be stacked, so yeah, like Nuclear said, they are just an inventory clutter. Besides, you didn’t assume that someone could have re-created their character.
It wasnt a seasonal, it was literally rare rarity that couldnt be traded. How tf is that not inventory clutter if you have no emotional attachment to it??? This has to be ragebait
I’d agree that it doesn’t count as clutter unless you’re collecting them, in which case it’d be your fault.
Where’s it gonna take up space if not your inventory? And that’s a small price to pay to have it just to have it.
And you only have an issue now?
Did you genuinely feel anger from seeing the item in your inventory when scrolling through (completely justified, I would also seethe of anger)? Is that why inventory clutter is a problem?
i told you not to reply to iny theyre just a ragebaiting moron, pay them no attention
Stop calling me a moron everywhere
In this specific case, I feel like they have a point. Sure it’s clutter on a technical standpoint, but it’s really not a big deal like gems.
I’d be like “oh look, my lovely prize is in here!” if I had one.
There are a lot of 5-gens on the forum, who do not realize that at the moment of the game’s release the galleon’s inflation wasn’t so big and people actually had to sell stuff for money.
stop being a moron
No, ngl thats my actual opinion (except the seething of anger part)
That depends. If it had been specified that it was a boss drop reward in the game and never obtainable again, then I’d disagree.
But, I know for a fact that that wasn’t specified, so now I can’t blame 'em.
People collected them because they were promised compensation of equal or greater value, yet they were given magius relics that sold for 75 galleons each (which is less than what a lot of boss drops sold for to npcs). So naturally most people sold them once they knew how useless they were. Having items in your inv that do practically nothing is just extra inventory lag, which i already have plenty of. Not to mention (again) how selling was literally their only purpose gameplay wise
Yes because i had already given up on good compensation the moment the compensation was shown. Why do you think i sold them?
Lag, 250 useless items that would only make my inv laggier
Honestly really does feel like it
god damn i remember when i actually had to grind for a ketch instead of casually getting it during the story
Upgrading sunkens was a luxury.
I don’t get the clutter argument, it’s not like inventory space is limited. I’d rather keep my unobtainable items than save myself one scroll wheel rotation at most.
And so you chose to sell an item you could no longer obtain more of. How much did that really speed things up?
A lot of this feels like people trying to justify their decisions now that it’s a problem.
