Magma/Fire Mage Builds

I’m making a pvp build for a Magma mage with second magic Fire: I’ll have armor for both a speed build and a size one (with a bit of speed), can you think of anything to improve on while keeping most armor the same?

^ Speed I1

^ Size I1, add atl essence to the chest and pants for it to be I2 / I3 (more power)
I’d like to keep it so the accessories are the same, just for it to be cheaper and more efficient, but don’t want to lose firepower on most builds.

I made these in like 5m but I think they’re good.
I’ve also never played a serious pvp mage, besides a fire mage I made 3-4 updates ago

Thanks opticalcord

has modifiers 0/10

bruh???

i am the #1 modifier hater

tf did modifiers do to you
Charts are fun asf, and while I do hope they add more blasted islands, it’s not that bad, as you can almost always go for other modifiers (I just happen to have a blasted arc rn)
the only modifier I can find complaints about is atlantean, as grinding atlantean essence is really annoying and strenuous, but even then it’s not that unbalanced, as it gives you an incentive to not go full modified arc gear.

i dont like gambling, modifiers are literally just gambling, and 90% of all armor sets ive gotten from treasure charts have been vanity. The sheer bloat of vanity armor thats added every update makes build making harder and harder, so eventually a single blasted arcsphere will be about as rare as a sunken.

Also its funny

Modifiers aren’t really gambling, and if you think that’s bad you gotta start fishing for sunkens, and it’s not that hard to do charts, the way I do it is get a legendary chart from a rival, complete it in nimbus (usually), and get tons of gear, I’ve gotten 3 arcs and a full set of archaic arcmancer from that.

i’m sorry but your opinion is completely irrelevant to how good the two builds are in pvp

modifiers is objectively good in terms of making a build strong, and that’s what the topic is about

yeah the heck they are, first you gotta get a treasure chart for that island, then pray you get a golden or silver chest because woodens dont drop armor, then get the armor you want, then roll a 50% chance to get a modifier, and it might not even be the one you want depending on the island

yes, hence why I do it for the funny, I don’t make the entire topic about modifiers unless people complain that I said it.

people are going to question why ur trying to bring ur modifier boycott into a topic about how good a build is in pvp

this is prob the tenth time i’ve seen u say the exact same thing “has modifiers 0/10” in a topic relating to someone’s build

then block me? idgaf

i think ur missing the point

Then just do more or trade other ones for the ones you need after doing charts
You can also use shovels to almost always get silver/gold, and leg charts always end with a ton of golden chests

it’s not as bad as you say it is, too.
while it is a 50% chance to get modifiers, and wooden chests don’t drop armor (??? I didn’t know that)
you rarely ever get silver chests, especially with fortune, when I was doing legendary chart finding, my least favorite part was sailing between the islands, which isn’t that bad (sailing is a large part of the game)
I rarely ever DON’T get a decent modified or decent general item from a legendary chart spot, whether that be a selino scroll, a vindi (has happened to me before) or an archaic mage coat / arcanium armor.
Overall, I’d say it’s not terrible, especially compared to sunken farming, unless you try and get 1 specific item from it, in which case it can be incredibly infuriating
Don’t try and grind for one item, just grind charts and get general items like I did (I got 3 crystalline power amulets, 2 crystalline attack speed amulets, and 1 crystalline arcsphere that I included in a trade for a sw piece in like 1 hr.)

And btw, blasted arcsphere is as valuable as sunken iron, for 2 reasons
1: Sunken Iron spiked down after the (basically) infinite luck abuse era.
2: Blasted arc is super rare right now, as there’s only 1 island in the game so far that gives blasted items.

Also vanity armor from charts doesn’t reduce the chances of good armor by much, as if you open higher-tier chests, you’re more likely to get higher-tier armor.
and if you really think that way, then just grind dark sea (which is DEFINITELY not gambling) and trade scrolls for it
last thing (sorry for hella long message)
Why, why WHY are you complaining about modified items being rng-based when SUNKENS exist, DARK SEA exists, and ACRIMONY exists.
I have grinded so much for these that it’s actually reasonable complaining about these, but treasure charts are 50x better.
and it’s an rpg, it’s gonna be rng based, get over it.

i didn’t mean valuable, I meant rare (also it was an exaggeration)
