Anyone have a build for this? Also is this even viable
@Divanochi I think
A few months ago I tried using intensity as the main stat on my magma Warlock. Had about 180 or so intensity, and it doubled the duration of DoT from 10s to 20s. I don’t remember how much the hp boost from resistance mode was, and I didn’t really benefit much from increased puddle size since warlock imbuements don’t create hazards.
With the formula changes I’m not sure how good the effects of high invest intensity are, but I really see no point in running that stat as a main stat as it currently is. There’s not much point in lengthening your DoT time since you can now refresh any DoT; running it for resistance aura alone isn’t very worth it when you can just use defense to increase your overall hp; I wouldn’t run it for just hazard size either, you might as well use attack size.
From what I’ve heard from members of the balance team, changes will be made to intensity in the future to make it a more viable stat worth investing into, but with the way things are right now I personally wouldn’t put much effort intensity
Do you know if intensity will affect puddle damage in the rework?
Idk tbh, but that’s not something I would expect since afaik they don’t want stats other than power to directly influence damage output
You see power doesn’t affect puddle damage either (or any dot actually) so we are all stuck with 26 puddle dot
