Magma user + whizzing particle/magic effect tutorial

progress shot

how to create the whizzing particle effect
  1. first a lowered opacity particle overlay (adjust accordingly) with the screen blending mode active

  2. link a gradient map to the particles to adjust colour

  3. use a blending mask to cut away the particles interfereing with your focus (the avatar in this example)

  4. select both the particle layer and the colour adjustment layer and duplicate (ctrl + j)

  5. select lowest particle layer and apply either radial blur/motion blue/gaussian blur (whichever one you use depends on what the focus layer is and which effect would fit the best, in this example it’d be the original blend)

  6. after this adjust the effect accordingly

also trying to keep posing dynamic as looking back at some of my older stuff i struggled w that a lot :v:

This is really cool. At some point, you can probably create something like this with an online model instead of the roblox avatar.

^^^ This one is cheap and there are a bunch of lower quality free models on the internet.

The only thing I care about is that curse users don’t use circles
