Currently, when you equip an Arcanium armor from someone with a different magic that you don’t have, that armor changes to your respective magic.
I wasted money just to minmax, and suddenly everything fell apart
Make it so Arcanium armors don’t switch magic once worn, and can only switch to your magic if it’s empty/never have any magic imbue in it in the first place.
Ex: You have explosionmancer set, but you don’t use explosion magic. Let it stay explosionmancer man.
But if the arcmancer is empty in the first place/magicless, then it uses your magic.
Maybe also make Enchanters able to magicless-ify the Arcanium armors.
dude… you spent galleons on a set of armor whose mechanics you don’t even know? it’s common knowledge that arcanium changes to adapt to your magic. you should have looked it up first. this suggestion is just a ragepost that makes no sense lorewise. how are you supposed to make use of gear that conducts a magic you aren’t attuned to? perhaps there could be something else implemented like armor infused with traces of magic energy from different magics that is explicitly designed to stay that way, but this suggestion in particular doesn’t make sense.
Yea there are items in the lore that produce their own magic from being so heavily exposed to it over time, but our characters aren’t even close to strong enough to be making those lol.
Yep, it was annoying as hell to deal with as a mage too because whenever you needed a modified piece of arcanium armor you had to gamble on it picking the right magic
Or, and hear me out here.. maybe you should pay attention to what the game tells you? I mean it blatantly tells you that magic imbued items will switch to your magic when equipped. You wasted money because you didn’t read.
You’re making this suggestion solely because you didn’t read the item’s description that mentions it’s going to change to your magic. I’d like being able to have arcanium items not change for stats and vanity purposes but this isn’t the way to go about it.
