honestly thats the only way i could see us getting her relic

we fight the guy who stole it then nilah lets us keep it since we got it back and have proficiency with spirit energy

(or we just never tell nilah)

We yes we all know this is part to preserve at least a portion of their arsenal but mostly because spirit users would be digging into the tomb like prairie dogs the moment the funeral was over, if they would even wait that long
