Instead of choosing magic, you now have to spin for them, base magics have a 95% rate, Lost magics have a 4.95% rate, Ancient magics have a 0.05% rate. You can also only get new spins buy buying them or completing the entire storyline
Add pets that enhance stats and magical abilities
Add a 2x EXP gamepass, More durable Pirate ship gamepass, Galleon purchases, Cosmetic lootboxes, Treasure Chart tracker gamepass, 2x Luck gamepass, and a stat reset purchase
Add random anime characters for no reason
EXP gain through exploration, fishing, cargo, and everything else is disabled, You can only gain EXP through doing quests
Add rare 1/100000000 chance Curse spawns

Every boss now scale to your level. So a lvl 125 player will face Iris the anomaly with +4k hp. And maybe an extra new moveset to make it harder.
Basically every boss will be as hard as the last boss you fought in the story quest.

The original calvus uses Aether lost magic. But KING CALVUS EX has aether, apocalypse bringer, and equinox with 24 ultimate arts and an arsenal of lost spells with no cooldown. His level will always be 5 times above your level, so no stat checking. Have fun!
Also, you know that move that goes “500! 500! 500!” ?
Well…on KING CALVUS EX, that move charges instantly. There’s no way you can hit him beforehand to soften the blow. It will also do 15,000 damage if all three beams hit you!
The speed of his barrage is instant and his AOE takes up the entire arena. If he kills you, your account will be perma ip banned from AO, the discord, and the forum.
If you somehow defeat KING CALVUS EX without taking the synapse oath, you have a chance to get his true weapon with a 1/9999999999999 drop chance: True Triasta of Bronze. It is a legendary^2 weapon that one shots the entire map with an m1.
I think EX bosses are an amazing idea and should be added to AO

Evey time an arrow or projectile falls off, ypu take damage. Imatine getting straight into a boss from an arrow fight and losing half your health
NPCs have a 1% chance to be exploiters. if you take a screenshot of them exploiting and send it to a new “mod call” panel you will get 5 sealed chests
there’s a cutscene that plays when u arrest them too where vetexgames morbs all over them and then eats them
