Magic I guess:
All of your spells will have two options: deploy and burst.
Deploy spells are extremely slow and will slow as they travel based on their size (bigger means more distance, smaller means less distance). If you hit someone with these, it does potato damage and applies a status. Deployed spells can knock each other around too.
Burst spells are faster, but deal about poison impact damage and are really small. Think of normal spells. However, if they hit a deployed spell, they will cause it to explode with the size of the deploy spell and deal damage of both the burst spell and deploy spell together, while having a greatly increased AOE. If you use a burst spell on someone who got statused by a deploy spell, they will take increased damage.
Certain spells will interact differently with different deploys and bursts. Shockwave explosions, for example, will explode into a large pillar shaped explosion when hit with a burst spell. Using beam onto a blast will create a “shotgun” effect. Using Javelin on a Blast will cause it to become basically a stationary Pulsar.
The caveat is bad damage and terrible clash rates across the board. Have fun trying to set up against a cannon spell. Or watch your whole field get mauled by Pulsar.

I got one, Nuclear magic. It 1 shots everyone (user included) within a ravenna sized area.

Special effects
DOT: 300% over 600 seconds (0.5% per second) stacks infinitely. Can be cleared by charging with Magma, Plasma, or Ice
Leaves a HOT area of effect on any attack like Ash. All projectiles/constructs/auras also raise the surrounding temperature immensely, requiring ice smoothies to survive
Stardust Magic appears as an extremely bright light, similar to moonlight-variation Light Magic, with Nebula vortexes that blind anyone who is near. It is visually similar to Moonlight-variation Light Magic and Gravity Magic
The magic deals extremely high damage with insane speeds, and has decent size, but comparably lower than other custom magics. The magic also inflicts the status effect Blinded

I did make the concept before we knew that energy magic existed. Also, do we even know how energy magic works? Could be extremely different as its curse form is described to give the user constant full energy, not be easy manipulatable.
Also, hellfire’s different from heat magic. This one’s closer to inferno.

Illusion Magic - Lost Magic
Mutation of Shadow
0.975 Damage Affinity, 1.3 Speed Affinity, 0.8 Size Affinity.
Attacks take on a red and purple coloration, with particles similar to that of Shadow.
All attacks apply a unique status effect that functions similarly to insanity. For 5-10 seconds after hit, a random effect will be applied. These effects include: Inverting the colors of the display, temporarily creating large red cubes in the environment, Calvus’ 500! 500! 500! attack spawning on the player (causing no damage), and other similarly disorienting/confusing phenomenon.
When applied to NPCs, they will either clutch their head and cease attacking or a period of 3-5 seconds, or attack without aiming for 5-10 seconds.

Mutation of Magma, Ash, Storm, Fire, and additional Heat-based Magics
A dark, molten crimson magic with black accents, volatile on impact and incredibly destructive. Pools of lava build up, forming ashen clouds that are charged enough to generate lightning within, making being within one a blinding AND damaging experience. Clouds are tied to puddles, meaning size scales with the size of the puddle, and no longer have any effect the moment a puddle dissipates.
Direct strikes and extended cloud exposure result in gaining the “Godmelting” status effect, which cannot be stacked or extended normally, but deals immense DoT and weakens magic attacks, while retaining its effects while standing on a puddle. Clouds are able to clash.
Much harder to obtain and rarer if mutating through Hecate Shards; if anything, better off not getting if you don’t have a heat-based magic as your first magic.
2.2x Damage, 1.8x Size, 0.45x Speed
1.6x Destruction
You are always Overheating no matter what if you have this Magic.
Arcanium Stats:
Magic Circle: Incredibly eruptive volcano icon in center. Spews outward and forms circles of ashes, volcanic lightning, and flames.

Reality magic would just be game crashing with a lot of size but slow speed so players can witness the terror of this thing before fucking dying
then realises they need to pay more taxes and the minimal salary is just modern slavery
