Berserk
If you can handle the material presented and maturely digest it then I highly recommend giving Berserk a shot. Truly sad that we’ll never get an ending but even without one it is still a masterpiece of a manga, easily being my favorite story of all time. The art pretty much has no equal, the characters are great, there isn’t too much world building so I can’t really comment on that but it’s not a story built upon a world, it’s a story about characters. I cannot recommend this series enough if it’s genre appeals to you, since it’s definitely not something for everyone.
Made a topic a who knows how long back about the artwork of Berserk, give it a look at least. The manga has been going at it for 30 years, the art work isn’t going to be as good in the beginning as it does towards the middle and end but, even then, the beginning material is still absolutely amazing.
