Berserk has some of the best panels in all of manga. I’m sure that even if you’re not a fan of the story being told or the medium that story is conveyed through you can still enjoy this stellar artwork. I just love the amount of detail in it, especially the emotions presented in the faces (especially the eyes) of the characters. The uses of gray instead of just pure black and white is also very appealing to me. It’s just a series that’s artwork I’ll forever fondly remember and constantly come back to appreciate.
Got in the mood to talk about this but since none of my friends are awake at 04:24, I thought I’d make a forum post/topic about it. This is now my second time talking about Berserk’s art but the first time was a little bit more about character design rather than the art of the series as a whole.
Bit of a warning I guess for those who search up some Berserk art to see other panels or whatnot for themselves; the series is dark. It has toned down substantially within the later parts (really during/after the Millennium Falcon Arc) but still best to be warned rather than go in blind.
