bro like i watched the sequel to the dr strange movie and i was genuinely disappointed to the bone, the acting was okay, but the CGI looked so cheesy and the fighting scenes were some of the stalest shit I’ve ever watched. I am genuinely so shocked how marvel fell off from being amazing to literally becoming a lore filled dumpster fire with way too many references to older movies and tv series as well as almost college film project level special effects.
Like I’m probably late to the party since kinda everyone agrees marvel is mid but like I never thought marvel fell off THIS BADLY. The only movie that in my opinion is marvel’s saving grace is like spiderman into the spiderverse, but that’s like the only good apple in a sea of total rubbish.
anything post Iron Man was mid, the avengers were okay but definitely not too good. They’re like plain toasts on a sea of shit, while they stand out as better they’re clearly not groundbreaking
but yeah i hear phase 4 MCU is bad, but I don’t really watch the MCU
spiderman NWH was rad tho
Anyway, I think think it’s because Disney keeps pumping out like a trillion movies and shows a year because they wanna be “fresh” since quantity apparently beats quality, so the quality of the films now is kinda bad
they just feel aimless, incoherent, incohesive, and not like Marvel. they’re all mediocre and tbh even Shang-Chi (the one i wanted to be good more than anything) was mediocre
Marvel should’ve just stopped at Endgame. That was enough. There was no need to continue. It was Marvel at its peak.
Now they’re pumping out more things than ever, we use to get only 2 movies a year, now we have like 12 movies/shows in a year
ong bro endgame was legit the best way to stop and put a rest to all of the superhero shit (maybe besides an occasional movie once every one or two years). You can deffo see how they are prioritizing quantity over quality hard
