oh believe me, it drove me crazy trying to get that fish for days to finish master angler once and for all. used multiple luck 3-4 brews, didnt work, then i just fished normally without luck for 30 min and got it

which reminds me, in my attempts to catch the small northern pike, i got:
normal northern pike, giant northern pike, and yes, even GOLDEN northern pike before i got the small version

tbh there isnt a way to directly get a small fish specifically, but because it was a rare fish, luck SHOULD have helped me get it but guess not…

which reminds me, i took a screenshot of this as proof in my insanity-fueled rage
