Has anyone ever found a max size treasure island or crystal field in the Far Reaches of the Dark Sea? I’d love to see some pics or videos if so
When I was adding the treasure island/“pirate island” biome type I tested its max size and it had like 400-600 chests so I was just wondering if anyone ever found one of these in-game and recorded it or something
I think I found an island like this back when the dark sea first dropped but I never thought to record it.

imagine finding that post full release with the addition of mystic and legendary chests

Most I got was like 30 chests, didnt ever go beyond the insanity 1 range due to my amazing PC performance
the one piece is real it appears 
i have found one before i believe, when i was hunting for hecate essence, but did not record it
i will try to look for possible pictures if I have any
edit: didnt find any images sadly
the loot was mostly gold/silver chests, sometimes normal and sometimes even dark sealed
the island itself was relatively small (in comparison to far reaches islands), so I wouldnt look for one in far reaches specifically even if I wanted to, closer ranges are still worth more

It’s a mix of sealed and normal. You will know it’s a treasure island if it’s a forest with gold piles scattered around. I’m not sure if the spawning system for islands is weighted (maybe vetex could answer this?) but I’m fairly certain they are rarer than other island types.
That’s why you bring two brigs.
thats so many chests that youd probably get banned for chest exploiting for tryna open that many so quickly
tbh ive never even seen a normal treasure island let alone a max size one

I wonder what the lore of Dark Sea treasure islands are. Is this the remnant of an ancient vault? Is it a new-ish pirate stash hidden away in the dark sea? Is it an Atlantean stash?

I haven’t found any interesting max size islands, I have only found a max size island that makes me think of dark pine isle, because there were a lot of pine trees
