But they weren’t affected by this change, gems were just added to sealed chests and treasure spots

If Gems are becoming more common place and easier to obtain, why the wipe then? It still boggles my mind.

are you dumb? If theyr’e adding a 20% chance for gems, that means the chances for other items has to go DOWN. you can’t have the chances equally 120%

the gems are most likely dropped alongside other items they dont replace other items

I think it’s an additional pool—that is to say, you have a 20% chance of getting a gem ON TOP OF what you’re already getting.

That’s not how it works, the drop rate of every sealed chest item don’t add up to 100%. You have a set % chance of getting and item and not getting that item, for example you have a 20% chance of getting a gem and an 80% chance of not getting a gem; the same applies to enchantment scrolls

The gem wipe might be annoying and useless without a dupe fix, but this change is a massive W since charts aren’t useless now
