Mage is always meta

Agenda.

Mage is the favorite child of Vetex

That’s complicated if it’s like that, you know :neutral_face::neutral_face::neutral_face::melting_face:

I wanna say Oracle. New things usually aren’t balanced compared to the rest of the game, and even with a testing team, who knows what the playerbase will get up to?

Based

Sav because triple imbue

I’m gonna say mage sheerly due to all the new spells it’s getting is going to give it insane versatility, I’m a mage player myself though and all I’m going to say is that I don’t know if the spells will matter too much because there’s not really enough keybinds and space to have all those spells, plus grinding for all the spells etc.

Mage sincy why not?

you guys dont realise how good paladin is gonna be

I have a strong feeling it’ll be either Oracle, Mage, or halvsies into both (Paladin).

So much stuff happened that people are underestimating the builds that would be viable. Deadass, every build in the game could reasonably become viable (except Warlock, Berserker, and Juggernaut— i just don’t see it I’m sorry ya’ll):

  • Mage— They’ve gotten the second most options in terms of moves. The blood disease stuff definitely helps them because of permanent synergies. Mage has consistently been a strong choice, so it’s what most people expect.

  • every damn weapon build— They’ve all gotten a shitload of skills to use this update and they’ve each gotten extra features that might just unbalance the game. They each need their own points:

    • Conj has gotten the greasing stuff AND they can create debris with their abilities, extreme synergy potential now. It was already regarded as one of the stronger builds for now, and all of it’s problems have been lessened AND it’s perks have been buffed;
    • Knight has 6 fucking tools— that’s the same amount as Savant of today, and more than the Savants of FR (Mag + Str + Wep/Spr = 5) yet they’ve got higher tiers. Knight can also make good use of the grease because Relics come with affinities like magics;
    • Warlord has Ultimate arts because of strength weapons— The cost reduction allows them to get every skill note of Ultimate art unlike the other Weapon hybrids, the Strength changes might also come in for just that extra bit of viability.
    • Warrior obviously has all too, but higher tiers and rarer weapons. Not as notable as the prior, but still really strong.
  • Savant— The other build that gets usually gets every benefit from weapons. You already know the amount of things They’ve got this update. The awakening changes + the new skills + the grease + the blood diseases. They’re going to synergy us to death. Only drawback is that not a lot of the stuff comes for lower levels, and you better be prepared for at minimum 5 tools, and at most 8.

  • Oracle— Potential man: The Class. we know the least about this one… and ima be honest, knowing the track record, there is a good chance this thing is unreasonably strong. As far as we’ve seen, this class got a crap-ton of Size and Crowd Control. The God imbues add an extra layer of possibilities that we don’t know of. I do hope it gets to be strong considering how we’ve waited this long for it to even be usable.

  • Paladin— If the god imbues aren’t viable, the Relic imbues will be. The patrimony alone is a straight buff to every damn magic because of its base stats. Was you’re metal magic too WEAK?? IMBUE IT WITH A DAMAGE RELIC. WAS YOUR LIGHT TOO SLOW? IMBUE IT WITH THE SPEED RELIC. I HOPE YOU LOVE SIZE. Also the only Hybrid to go both ways, so you get a good amount of control with how you can build it. It’s also the only method you have to imbue Magic without using 50 blood diseases and being 1 shot from a poison cloud.

Paladins are the only hybrid with two-way imbue besides Savant, but it’s going to be less starved for stats

Conjurors are getting ultimate arts

Wait, WE ARE?

Some, with max Weapons investment (around 170 Weps needed for the cheaper skills) — I made a post, I’ll get it.

Yeah, very rarely, Works like this:

Formula

WeaponLevel x 2 + (Cost of the Skill) - 30 + 10 for 3rd and 4th slots. — The Cost addition for Ultimate Weapon moves is 70, and the patchnote that made the change said it was added on with default costs, so its either 70 or 80.

WeaponLevel x 2 + (Cost of the Skill) - 30 + 80/70 for 5th slot (Ults) Weapons with 5+ skills can use ults, so anything above Good quality, so 100+ will be our weapon base, I’ll use the worse case scenario:

100 x 2 + (Cost of the Skill) - 30 + 80 for 5th slot Skill costs range from 30/60/90/120; so the costs for ultimate arts are: 280/310/340/370.

However, some Good Quality weapons are level 50 (notably Sunken Sword; but some others might exist)— this makes the costs go as follows: 180/210/240/270 — which means level 30 skills such as Flashstrike can be use. I believe there are some others. You may reduce these by 10 if the cost happens to just be 70, instead of slot-4 + Ult cost. (this notably makes 60 cost skills like flying slash usable)

Overall, Not many for Conj— but still some, and i think we do get a couple extra lvl 50 Good Tier weapons, i just can’t name them rn. Warlord is the class that’ll actually have Ultimate

I HAVE THAT!

Hmm…ok ok, or maybe shining cycle as well?

I know conjurer is getting a decent amount, I just wish a bit more idk, especially with some of the new weapon skills (I NEED that new warrior beam) AND THOSE AMAZING MAGIC SPELLS

Wiki has all the current skill costs, but Shining Cycle(60) will end up just barely usable if the Weapon cost is just 70.

I know most mini-boss drops end up being level 50 good weapons (i think Kai’s Sabre and Merlots Knife count).

If Conj had gotten Arcanium it would’ve been guaranteed which is sad.
