If you wanna see what all it has, just look up 1.19 on the Minecraft wiki, I suppose. A very debated about update and I think it’s really neat. My only complaints:
- Them removing fireflies from the update just because they’re poisonous to frogs (would still be good ambiance), then proceeding to make frogs eat slime
- The lack of game integration for some of the new blocks, like mud. A lot of the mangrove swamp blocks just… exist?
- The fact echo shards exist simply just to be an ingredient for one crafting recipe and absolutely nothing else
- The lack of a swamp village, despite how the villager variants for it have existed for the longest time and even now that a swamp wood type exists (Understandable though since it would take a while)
- The Java Edition of the update has really cool sounds for the Allay. I’ll let you guess what Bedrock doesn’t have
- Overall how rushed a lot of the update felt, especially the mangrove swamp
Overall a great update, these are just some nuances I have. Otherwise most of the stuff is absolutely great.
I also have some issues with people complaining about a lack of content; these are the same people who imply that Mojang should be reasonable and not overpromise, and that’s exactly what they’ve done. I understand if you don’t like the content since that’s a matter of opinion, but you can’t say that they gave less than they promised (besides fireflies, and some of the other things make up for that I suppose). It’s a free update after all, and they’re still giving you content that most people will enjoy.

Eh idk yet will have to see. Tbh I didn’t like the last few updates as much as I thought I would. Since at the time we were craving a cave update.

Of course they split it up until like three parts was just ruined a bit of it for me in the first update was terrible for me since they really didn’t add anything

Yeah but it did ruin it and they had to split up The deep dark twice Which I definitely didn’t like it because that’s the main reason I was gonna play it. Because I thought Minecraft was too easy at that point.
There was just no content that I liked there was some eyeglasses a new ore that really wasnt useful and easier to get ores.
Now did I think the lush caves were great absolutely. Do I think all the other caves were better absolutely. Just item Wise And replayability wasn’t the best

The split didn’t really ruin it, and the deep dark was delayed twice to add way more content to it. Imagine if you were playing with the warden showed in minecon 2020 instead of the current one
A million new blocks, several new mobs, entire overworld revamped, new cave generation system, new ores, entirely new mechanics
And yeah while I was also annoyed by the splits, at the end of the day they’re updating the game for free
Side note: Can’t wait for sculk sensor instant kill landmines to pop up
To be fair Cliffs aren’t The most fun to explore and I really couldn’t care less about the new blocks yeah they’re cool I’m just not really a builder. I did love the new cave generation though

I love the new cliffs, obviously it’s a matter of opinion though. New world generation is pretty goated, update was basically an overworld revamp and I was all for it

What do you mean by overworld revamp I really thought of is the same no I know that’s an opinion but I really saw nothing different except those gigantic mountains. Puts my old custom mountain to shame

You do know they changed all of the overworld generation, right?
I played 1.18. Heck I was even in a Fourm Minecraft server I swear I saw nothing different. May have to replay it
