The Poison Archmage is from the Corsair Country, a freelance mercenary that roams around the seas. Following the death of King Calvus, the Order sent him to the Bronze Sea to reinforce their influence there. You are tasked to take him down before continuing your journey.

Appearance and spawn
The Poison Archmage only has one spawn: Shell Island. He is located in the Wilderness Area. His spawning will be reported in the Agora like this: “last night, a mysterious dark wizard was seen in the wilderness of Shell Island. Locals have urged not to enter the area as they fear the wizard’s possibly harmful intentions.” The Archmage wears a modified acid wizard set, with a unique mask, and uses a spirit Staff.
Boss Fight
The Archmage has two phases. He has 3,750 hp and the second phase is unlocked at 50% hp. He behaves similar to a mage, but a lot less mobile. He uses the following moves.
Corroding Blast: the Archmage fires three blasts in the shape of swords at the player, dealing 80 + 10*5 dot dmg per blast. Used in mid ranges.
Decimation: the Archmage unleashes four consecitive pillars of explosions that deal 100 + 14*5 dot each. Used in all ranges.
Melting Burst: the Archmage slams his staff into the ground, creating a + shaped four-way beam that deals 130 dmg + 16*5 dot per hit.
When he reaches phase 2, his attacks are intensified and adds three new moves:
Acid Aura: (Passive) activated upon reaching 50% health. Attack damage is increased by 30%
Piercing Slam: the Archmage waves his staff and summons a giant acid spikeball that is hurled towards the player. Deals 230 dmg + 22*5 dot.
Dragon Blast: same as Corroding Blast, but deals 140 dmg + 15*5 dot and takes the form of a dragon.
Upon defeat, the Archmage has a 1/8 chance to drop the Archmage set, which gives defense and armour piercing.
