for example i have a file named Vergil Sparrow
V. Sparrow’s Thalassi
this way you can fit the name without taking too much space

Yeah, I think it’s more fitting in game and much cooler for it to be something like “Arcturus’ Stormcaller” or “Silverthorn’s Greatsword” as opposed to “IandominusRex6308’s stormcaller” and so on. The custom names barely feels like it exists outside of the story and I think they deserve to be on more things.

Mixing up display name and Roblox username. I think most ppl would have a simple display name.

Still people can make pretty weird display names, plus they likely would default to Roblox usernames anyways if you don’t have a display name. All of this to say, I’d rather have weapons NOT be named something like “footlicker’s silent blades”

i don’t want my weapons to be named after socks
Then that’s up to the player to decide how they want their display name to be.
In the end of the day, both should be implemented but that’s only my opinion.

I kind of prefer the display name option, since you can change that for free
but the surname option is also pretty cool though

Only two rifle weapons currently exist though? (Old musket and Bronze musket)
but if you think about it, plunderers technically count as a third musket.
