ＭＥＴＨＯＤ
- Movement speed of at least 130+ recommended (the more speed, the better for this setup). NO cannons or mortars. DO THIS SOLO TO DECREASE OMEN SPAWN CHANCE.
- For ranges 0-2, attach to one of your cannons or attachments on the side of your ship (NOT CAPTAIN’S SEAT, STEERING WHEEL, OR MORTAR). This will lock you out of using the speed profession, which is why base boat speed is important. Do not switch seats unless for water poisoning clear (ideally, use soap to retain the same position). This is VERY important as no islands, tornadoes or forests will spawn in front of you so it’s a straight shot to i3.
- Once in i3, continue to retain the same position until you come across an island using sensing (NO VOLCANO OR SIREN ISLANDS). Then take control of your ship to steer towards the island.
- The first thing you should do is check for the island biome. If the island is barren, desert, or tundra skip it, moly CANNOT spawn on these islands except for a rare exception.
- Use revealing potions to avoid atlanteans and look for moly on the island. Moly may look similar to thornflowers at first, but has a circular base and is taller than thornflowers.
- Rinse and repeat looking across the islands.
Tips
- Moly spawns more frequently on wide and tall islands, making them worth looking on compared to the method for hecate essence.
- Moly can spawn on any island if the thornflower dark sea structure is present, often having at lesat 1+ moly on the structure.
- Moly can replace thornflower and saint lily flower (or any herb) with a 1 in 24 chance.
- If you find a moly stuck in a wall, you can make a ticket to receive the moly via restore.
