Simply put, an untradeable item called a Server Key would be added to the game which would give players an option to play in 5 player servers instead of the usual 12.
To be honest… this is probably a bad idea, but if it were ever to be added, this is how I would like it.
It has to, because that’s the point. If a “smaller server” option were added without it being server list(which is an actual good idea), it should be like this.
Smaller servers=easier for exploiters to exploit, at least add a paywall so that it’s not so easy.
Again, if it were ever to be added, this is how I’d like it.
Idc about “no players cause ez grinding”
That point is just flawed bullshit.
The game loses next to NOTHING with lack of player activity. There’s barely any player activity in the game to begin with.
I can go from Ravenna to redwake and not see a single soul in a full server.
This is just private servers with extra steps.
And while I wouldn’t mind private servers, I can see why it would be a bad idea to add. (unless it’s an arena server)
IKR, most of the time people aren’t even in the islands that you’d expect them to be. Half of the time, Ravenna is either desolate or the players you’re trying to look for are in some random island.
All it’d change it just that now it’s even harder to look for bounties, but if you’re in a smaller server, you probably aren’t trying to fight anyone anyway.
It’d be cool if we could choose a specific region too, I doubt Vetex would go indepth with regions like Florida and Thailand or whatever, but the simple choosing of EUW/USE/USW or whatever would still be good(it saves time, sometimes people occasionally join servers that aren’t anywhere close to their own region)
Private servers can totally RUIN a game, especially a PVE based one. Players can exploit behind closed doors, and use macros without any chance of them getting caught, plus more that I can’t think of off the top of my head.
Although, the 4(?) hour ban thing for max level would hold people back, since they can’t just speedrun max level with exploits.
Yeah. That’s why I said I could see it being a bad idea.
Because shitters will try and pull this bullshit off.
But I was more so talking about how private servers would cause the economy to be completely destroyed beyond possible repair.
Which can be easily avoided by simply disabling the obtainment of any item above uncommon and/or common rarity.
But still. There’s so much common shit that’s actually useful you have to stop and wonder if private servers should be able to let you obtain items at all…
You should’ve suggested private servers that prevent Renown gain at that point. Private servers also tend to cost Bobux and you can invite whoever you want instead of still being with total strangers in the computer.
