In a fight, the atlantean, 100%.
In a game of chess, where the atlantean can’t just annihilate calvus (or the board)? It depends on how much intellect an Atlantean has, thus, I have no real idea.

Chess is stupid
have them pvp eachother in AO instead

Heavily depends on what weapons and other abilities the atlantean has. But on average? Prolly calvus tbh, especially if he can fully charge his pillar explosion

npcs are shown to have aimbot, so the atlantean won’t have an issue hitting calvus and canceling his pillar explosion
monstrous atlanteans usually have 3k hp and deal 500 damage, so they can kill each other in similar amounts of hits since the most calvus can do without charging his pillar is around 300 damage
but calvus attacks way slower so unless the atlantean is a beserker who gets stuck in the ground, i’d say atlanteans win 90% of the time

Youre right he prolly wont be able to fully charge his pillar explosion

But youre also forgetting that calvus has other moves that can deal 500+ dmg. (His grab and his multi attack that he can use during other attacks). Also idk about you but most monstrous atlanteans ive faced deal 300-400 dmg per hit. On top of that, unlike calvus they dont have any tp like dodge so theyll likely be missing way more shots than the aoe monster that is calvus.

Edit: i forgot to even mention that calvus has 50% more hp than most monstrous atlanteans too :sob:

m1ed to death

Alantean is too speedy for Calvus because they can outrun 500+ agility builds by just running

Just depends on what attack cycles Calvus uses. If hes using his 150 damage blast often, he’s gonna lose very quickly. But if hes spamming grab, those light spears above his head, slams and fast attacks, he might have a chance.

Calvus is programmed to use his close range moves (grab and the multi explosion) more if his enemy is close to him. Since atlanteans are fast theyll likely be close enough a lot of the time for him to use those attacks

unless theres a 1 in 11 chance that the atlantean is warden, calvus wins

good point, but calvus isn’t shown to absolutely spam attacks every 2 seconds like atlanteans can spam spear throw or magic beams
in the end i still think calvus wouldn’t be able to keep up with the dps despite his 1.5k health advantage

calvus can’t dash while attacking so it doesn’t matter that atlanteans might not be able to hit him while he’s dashing

Alantean be like on Calvus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTHR-ZblLYo

1/11 chance calvus wins, i don’t like those odds

Calvus will only get a EZ win if the Alantean is a Warden

fair enough, which is why i said in my first comment that it heavily depends on the moveset of the atlantean

travel time for the atlantean, also would waste some of their attacks

Atlanteans are very random and differ greatly in strength even at the same level.

I mean on one hand you have a metal magic paladin that forgot every spell except a blast modified to be even slower than it already was.
(and warden atlanteans lol)

On the other hand you have
Light/lightning magic conjuror with bow, spear, and dagger that uses quick barrages of multiblasts and multibeams with ludicrously high damage per hit and near perfect aim with a magic that’s already incredibly fast while occasionally also using their aim to throw out near invisible 400 damage projectiles that move almost as fast as their light blasts.
