This will expand on both NPC and player ships
Player ships
This would include more siege weapons and other things
More Siege weapons
New siege weapons, including greek fire, harpoon launchers, turrets mounted with a super-heavy cannon, and other things
Ability to use building tool not unlike the clan one for your ship
It would probably be usable on the frigate and higher for the captain’s quarters, but on large ships we should be able to build rooms below the deck for shopkeepers, crafting, and decoration(instanced, obviously)
Npc ships
Would include special ships and behavior
Famed merchants
Famous merchants that sell premium goods, they would include a few merchants on their boat and the crew would always be preset. The merchants will always sell higher tier stuff than your average shopkeeper.(these would be weaker end minibosses if fought btw)
Extra ship behaviors
Merchant ships would be able to dock along beaches like in world of magic, and would setup camps for around 10 minutes, or until they are destroyed. Famed Merchants would setup larger camps, and the shopkeepers would move into the camps for the duration.(limit of 1 camp per normal island, 2 to 3 for larger islands to prevent overcrowding)
Npc ships would be able to board eachother.
Ships can temporarily dock at ports to repair when out of combat
