Sooo, yeah, as you can see in the title - this topic is about the battleground games and a major part of its communities - which we often call “Toxic”.
I’m seriously concerned about future children, not gonna lie.
It wouldnt be much of a problem with the battleground genre of games - but coincidentally, those battleground games have a shit ton of these toxic people in store - and it’s really weird why do people mostly go to these battlegrounds… Probably because they lack braincells but im just overhating atp
I’ll be honest here, I am also playing battleground games! Well… Only for fun. No competition, just pure fun.
And you know what I do as a troll and someone who just wants to have fun? Do whatever shit possible, for example, making team combos. They are just… So satisfying. It would be really good if none of those people complained as if I would beat them up in real life, but alas, its not the case. It just costs me to interrupt their boring 1v1s ONCE and they start talking the most nonsensical shit to be ever seen.
Like bro its been 3 years probably and you still find “1v1” fun??? Idk man learn to enjoy different things I dont even know how they still find fun THE ONLY BORING PART OF THE GAME and then complain about fucking teaming and other stuff
Oh and yeah, lets not forget those rats who will spam “killsteal3r!!!” in chat over 5 times when you take their kill (a useless in-game value)
They also often lack any kind of common sense, unaware of what “grass” is, and the only thing they are able to say in any case they “win” - is “ez” and “cry”
Like bro its not even fun at this point they lack any creativity
Im afraid Generation Beta will become even worse if they will be allowed to roam on Internet for free and without any restrictions (Which is most likely to happen) this is just painful to look at. My altruistic ass still feels bad for those toxic kids even though I know I pretty much cant help them
So yeah - toxic kid = bad
Battleground games = good
(battleground games arent really bad by themselves, depending on how they are made… But toxic kids were bad and still are bad)

I understand that different people have different points of view but here’s mine:
Considering a lot of time has passed most players already did at least 100 1v1s, which should get less exciting by the time
I could interrupt a 1v1 for funsies - not even killsteal, for me its enjoyable to fight in FFA
And teaming for me is just another level of fun, there wasn’t a single case for me (excluding toxicity moments) where I would not get any fun from teaming. For me it’s like twice as good as normal 1v1s.
i mean, when i play battlegrounds i do it to chillax and hang out, and i do enjoy fighting my friends from time to time and especially fighting other people
but being teamed on is just kind of annoying, especially since i mainly play TSB which has no anti- teaming features so if people really wanted you gone they can just infinite m1 combo you and theres literally nothing you can do about it unless they mess up or someone comes to help you
I love when there’s a 1v1 going on and one guy is low so I just quickly kill him before the other guy and start running, and if they catch up to me I just leave before they kill me so they don’t get the satisfaction
i do this too sometimes but then the other guy is usually also low so i murk him rq too, i don’t feel too great about it but i can’t lie its pretty funny
I agree but tbh running the 1s is a lot more fun than getting randomly jumped in the middle of a fight. They have a right to be mad about that, but there are A LOT of people who are toxic for absolutely no reason (using a specific character may trigger toxicity for example)
PS. I play a lot of jujutsu shenanigans so I have quite some battlegrounds experience
I mainly hate the ones that keep coming back after you kill them, like you killing me once doesnt prove anything when ive already beaten you a dozen times
