Mostly all Fighting Styles and What I think they'll be used for in terms of PvP or PvE

So in this thread I am going to predict what all Fighting Styles will be used as in terms of PvP or PvE.
Side note: These are only just predictions so they wont be 100% accurate

Sailor Fist: This fighting style might be only pretty useful in pvp when you are chasing somebody in the ocean. The meter sounds like how the Sky Skates used to work, stay on a type of surface and wait for the meter to fill.
(overall this fighting style would be useful in Dark Sea Expeditions for clearing multiple enemies with fast attacks or guild vs guild ship battles)

Thermo Fist: The Thermo Fist is basically the radius fist could be op in pvp if the damage is high enough Arcane Adventures Radius Fist used to usually one shot at full protentional.
(Overall this fighting style can be usefull in again Dark Sea Expeditions due to if it does a large AoE attack and a hefty amount of damage. Or in PvP could be used for finishing off Guild members for infamy)

Crane Style: Crane style sounds like it’s an sniping fighting style.
(In PvP this could be used a an alternative to a beam attack like a sniping fighting style but for PvE I am not sure)

Karate: Karate sounds like that people can stop people for a period of time by grabbing them, making them immobile and very exposed for 20% multi-blasts from another guild member with the skill within the fighting style through the belts this could become very powerful by black belt tier.
(in Pvp as stated can be mainly used for a tactic for gaining infamy from a apposing guild like somebody else could use the grab ability, hold them in place and the other guild member could then use 20% blasts to successfully kill the guild member and gain infamy through that method in PvE if you’re able to grab Iris you could use a two person combo as stated as somebody grabs the enemy and somebody else could use as stated 20% blasts to deal high amounts of damage)

Knocking Fist: knocking fist sounds like a tactical fighting style perhaps highlighting the pressure points making them slow down but at higher levels said in the trello card that it “slows the enemy down” after hitting the hit points.
(This in Pvp could be used as making an advantage, slowing the enemy down and making their match harder as you might start to use multi or combos to deal large amounts of damage In pvE if Iris the Anomaly is affected by these status affects could slow Iris down to deal large amounts of damage)

Lost Magic Fighting Style/styles

Vampirism: Vampirism is a fighting style which have it’s advantages and disadvantages like it makes you’re skin base temperature go up by alot making fighting fire users or Iris a challenge due to them using fire or a lost magic but it also makes people bleed from every hit them receive from a Vampirism fighting style user cause bleed and gives you health from every hit like a drain ability.
(In pvp this could be used as a last resort when fighting somebody and they get you to low health, you can damage them and from that get healed from the hit you used. Used as an recovery ability in pvp but in PvE while you’re perhaps being rked, chased and you are on low health you can use npcs to regain health by hitting them a few times healing you’re character.

(Jueses this took a long time to finish this thread :sleeper:)

Feel free to leave you’re objections in the comments

they’re completely different, thermo builds up speed over time, and can cause “heat-like” effects, while radius is consistent in speed, but has a large AoE.

Personally I think thermo could be useful for putting pressure on an enemy, while also dealing moderate damage.

karate makes enemies more susceptible to grabs
meaning all fighting styles can be used to grab opponents, but karate just makes it easier to use grabs.

You forgot to mention that the debuffs are only present during the day-time, meaning the fighting style is better for attacking at night. This also means that during the day, you have a disadvantage against anyone attacking you.

Are you thinking of Impact fist? Cuz it’s already planned.

It has more reach, but I doubt it has as much range as a beam attack.

I don’t think you’d have to hit specific points on an enemy to slow them down. It just isn’t how this combat system works. Most of that stuff about pressure points and precision was probably just flavour text.

Thermo fist sounds annoying to use but hilarious to pull off well. Also I like vampirism, though I feel like it’s downside is meh.

Sailor fist seems accurate enough but you most likely wouldn’t be jumping in water constantly while you are on a ship, at best if you are on an island. Either way it wouldn’t be necessary to stay underwater 24/7, it wouldn’t become totally useless once the meter is empty.

I don’t think you realised thermo fist is just what flash fist became, it’s all about punching fast and not AoE like radius.

I’m sure you are overestimating the reach of crane, but idk how fighting style abilities will work. Maybe projectiles and long range stuff will be fairly common but I don’t think it will go far past comparing what a whip-like weapon covers compared to a sword or dagger.

Now I’m not certain but I believe you couldn’t take hits from others while being grabbed in AA and the balance in this game was already bad, so surely that wouldn’t be the case in AO with the karate style. That doesn’t necessarily stop them from hitting you right after the grab but can’t really theorise on the balancing of something that’s nothing more than a description on a card.

Knocking fist sounds accurate I guess

Vampirism uh… I highly doubt it would be a last resort thing. You will always suffer from the debuffs so might as well use the fighting style as much as you can. Civilians also can’t be hit and I highly doubt you’ll often find npcs close enough to be killed, weak enough to heal you more than they hurt yet have enough hp to not be killed in one hit and give you 2 hp in return.

Yeah it was late at night when I wrote that

I also forgot a few fighting styles

Yeah forgot a few fighting styles
