Guess what idiots, lokis anon’d and that means someone new must take up the title of archadvicegiver, and so i thought, “why not me?” The answer to this question was numerous things such as not being one of loki’s apprentices, overall being kind of an asshole, and not having the commitment to maintain this thread, but i did it anyway because i hold a profound lack of respect for you people.

Is it better to minmax for responsiveness and smooth gameplay (like client hitboxes) or to have good sanitization against Exploiters? (like server-sided startup/endlag)
In any game the experience of the average player should ALWAYS outweigh the enjoyment for competetive audiences (i have zero pent up rage from deepwoken i swear), and in the case of a pve based game good gameplay benefits the game more than exploiters can harm the experience for those they can effect. Unless anything REALLY game breaking comes up prioritize the first one
