Something about these brings up fake or fabricated memories but still extremely warming memories. I think it’s because they sound nice and remind me of stuff.

I met this one really cool guy who had a yt that I never checked and can’t check now (Long story short my smart 12 year old self got my first account hacked) who helped me get to floor 7. I spent hours upon hours on the game
I vividly rember watching this video when I was 12 and thinking to myself, “Holy shit everyone looks so happy, I wanna do that too.”
also they’re just amazing players in general. Leo P, the bari sax player, is someone who’s influenced my personality HEAVILY. I want to be me, unapologetically. I wanna bring people together with a unique light, like the cool highlighter hairdo Leo has in this video. I guess to me this video is kinda nostalgic and kinda inspiring. I like feeling the clashing emotions at play.

These weren’t the best pair of Metroidvanias out there
there’s several flaws with them, pretty steep skill curve, getting lost, frustrating bosses, and the 2nd game had mediocre voice acting (aside from a few gems)
but they’re pretty much my favorites

First one is my best friend’s favorite song so I just think of her when I hear it, second one if a beautiful track from the 1997 Berserk anime. Imo it captures Guts’ character pretty damn well. Not the biggest fan of the anime but the Berserk manga is my favorite of all time.
