the ancient magic scroll shenanigannery is old outdated gameplay-exclusive stuff
you’ll get the ancient magic through Hecate shards and once you have the ancient magic you just learn the spells through scrolls, stuff like javelin, pulsar, and surge, etc
I mean i’ve just seen the arcane odyssey news creater on youtube
the general wording of “spell scroll” instead of something more specific stating that each ancient magic would have its own unique moveset

it isn’t possible, if it was planned that ancient magics would have their own spells then the trello would have specified something like “ancient magic spell scroll”, but it only says “spell scroll”, meaning things like javelin and pulsar
the people who interpret it the other way are misinterpreting it

idk, i feel like it’s weird you wouldn’t have access to stuff like explosion, leap and aura but it’s whatever, i don’t own the game, i’m just regurgitating information
probably wave magic, I just think it’s neat
I assume it would probably be like an ancient more efficient blast you learn or something
I think spell scroll is kinda stupid since you can just learn to manipulate it like base magic, u will learn it overtime… (or maybe the spell scroll contain a magic circle perfect for the magic itself to keep it stable and not bounces off the chart of normal magic circle)
