Most base magics and lost magics have curse variations, since these magics existed at the time of Prometheus’s death.
However with new mutations outside of that(Cataclysm, Distortion, etc) will powerful mutated ancient magics have more value wielded then a curse?
I mean, they’re able to be, they just never got invented.
There is an issue though
Apparently, a new magic can be made any time with the help of divine meth
But Prometheus made curses back in 200-something and desintegrated afterwards
Does this mean that a curse just pops into existance each time a magic is made, or do only the old magics, made before the curses, have their curses?

only the old ones have curses, that’s correct
Curses were only created for every magic known at the time. It used to be “there is a curse for every magic, but not a magic for every curse” but Vetex.
We love our lore that is being held together by stitches, duct tape and wires!

Prometheus only made curses for the magics that existed at the time so it makes logical sense for the most part
not really the best example to use to pick apart the games lore

Nah I mean how it went from not all curses having magics to not all magics having curses
it was always all curses had magics
Not every curse has a magic and not every magic has a curse, it’s always been that way

no, that clause was added because of experimental curses, which is still true now
Did the curses of new magics just poof into the existance when the magic was made?
