I’d love to learn more about art, but despite my love for drawing stuff, I absolutely hate art classes. All the art teachers I’ve ever gotten, even though they’re probably wonderful people, I’ve just taken a serious dislike for them.

wtf i can relate to this (minus the dislike, they’re still cool) since i tried my hardest to draw something good with two year’s worth of art classes, but i ended up giving in and moving to music

Follow tutorials instead if you hate classes or simply practice on your own. Assess and imitate artists you like and see how they make their style their own (i.e. lighting, anatomy, line art, values/contrast, etc.). I just drew a fuck-ton of dragons as a kid and now I draw shitty creatures.
