My concerns for Full Release

This absolutely perplexed me in WoM, especially since fighting bosses with multiple people made your drop chance lower in addition to their increased health and damage. I can’t remember if it still does that in AO, but I never brother grinding bosses if other ppl are there just cause it’s easier by yourself

Pretty certain that is no longer feature

hunting sea monsters is another example

when i first made my character i genuinely wanted them to be someone who hunted sea monsters nd whatnot but as soon as i fought one they just got stuck in the water and i just had to spam 80 million harpoons at them. its not at all engaging

Sea monster hunting being the most boring activity as you’re not in any danger while you’re on your boat

I cant emphasize enough how important promoting the game is.

Open up Roblox right now go to charts and finally most popular and then take a minute or two to look at the games up there.
How many of them do you think deserve their popularity?
How many of them feel like have the level of passion and quality as AO?

The majority of games that are played are not the best but the ones that are known. This applies more or less to pretty much everything not only games.

Obviously the overall experience of AO needs to be positive why bother promoting a product they will try and hate.
But currently AO has enough activities for early and late game.
Quality of life would be good for full release but promoting the game should be utmost priority.

yeah so we need stuff like minibosses and legendary ships and spirit weapons over promoting the game

quality of life solos

I feel you underestimate how much content AO already has from the perspective of a new player.
Most new players might have more of a concern over Elius being too much of a difficulty curve than a legendary ship they wont see until 30 hours in.

I do agree that late game is still needed for AO but not over promoting it.

spirit weapons tho, and vitality rework
vitality’s presentation is kinda ass rn cause i thought when i first joined that i needed to invest into it for hp at all, if it was reworked then i wouldnt have thought that
also vetex needs to add that guide book, with a stat builds page obtained at dawn island so that we dont have kids saying “how stat build work” and instead they just read and go “hmm, ok” cause that was something i was confused about too

anyways that’s the shit I want done before vetex starts presenting the game to a wider audience (add a guide book page for gear by the time we get to cirrus :sob:)

Agreed on both.
Spirit weapons so far dont look very promising at least not to be as interesting as any of the other three systems.

And I pretty much play the game with the wiki open in another tab due to how obscure some game information can be. I wonder how the game even looks for someone with no in game knowledge of AO.

I remember trying Creatures of Sonaria not that long ago and there was an ingame guide that explained every mechanic. Some parts could have been better detailed but it was a complete in game guide that was unexpectedly welcome and helped me understand a lot there.

no, i mean they’re trash rn cause there’s only 1 spirit wep and 1 move and you cant use the full build yet
the visuals are really cool which might attract blox fruits kids

this is what im talking about btw

Calvus works because they have a large arena and leave a trail that leads to where they dashed.
Elius works because you know they use the pillars.
Carina is just regular NPC AI with a couple special moves and a regen in phase 2.
Maria is kinda ehhh because she spams dashes with no real indicator of where she went. So sometimes if you’re not paying attention (the fighting area is small too and she dashes more than Calvus), you sometimes lose track of her. Not to mention: invulnerability coupled with an attack that basically forces you to cheese her imo.
