If she’s the one who wrote most of the Yuletide dialogue, vetex should definitely have her write more of the story dialogue too. It’s actually really nice and not the usual cheesy dialogue we’ve been used to for a while, they can cook fr.

I thought the reason they dropped this idea was because they didn’t want people flying between islands without caring about the boats at all
Yeah but that issue was partially solved by the fact that things like sealed chests or cargo will have to be placed on your ship, along with the fact that larger ships have more functionality that you might not want to leave behind.
After that point the main issue became the fact that flying would probably be magic exclusive and that would be unfair.
Really? No offense to the writers, but I’ve found most of the event dialogue to be pretty doofical.
It was definitely trying to be a lot more whimsical (from the bottom of my jolly heart), but for some reason it just came off as a little less cringeworthy then the normal dialogue
Maybe it’s me idk
How to solve this issue:
- Spirit users fly with spirit energy
- Weapons users can take their dual swords and flap them like a freaking bird (like with soaring eagle)
- Strength users fly using their enhanced strength and willpower (same way they do with airstep)
