they can enforce it if it isnt listed just it shouldnt be as harsh as a ban
the problem is probably their moderation guidelines not the actual staff themselves

if the actual staff are incapable of comprehending the idea that your average discord user can’t view these guidelines you keep mentioning then there is definitely a problem with the staff themselves.
@ShadeofAzure I implore you to ignore everybody else in this thread and respond to atleast ONE of the genuine points brought up by Level as this statement only further proves your lack of confidence in your own reasoning

staff guidelines not rules
its like a basis for moderation for the staff to understand and follow. its to help new staff
members arent supposed to see it. its just how they moderate. vetcord is stricter than most servers
I should be unbanned from vetcord as well (I should not)

the way you’re talking about them makes them sound a whole lot like rules but the general public can’t read them despite still being able to break them and be punished for it.
if they’re THAT then they shouldn’t be used as an excuse for ‘unspoken rules’ in the first place lol.
Pissinput, mod supervisors are the ones who more or less who MAKE the moderation guidelines, just look at the pins and you can see a whole lot of rules implemented by Shade like "don’t make fun about Queen Elizabeth’s death’. I doubt Vetex is spending time out of his already busy day to make up guidelines for every problem in vetcord

Then you can’t blame the moderation guidelines for baseless bans if the person banning is the same person who made the guideline. In this case a ‘guideline’ wasn’t even created until after the already unjust ban and it isn’t even being enforced neither equally nor impartially as evident by Level’s screenshots.
The only time I’d blame the mod guidelines is when a normal mod makes a moderation decision which most people may disagree with but was part of the mod guidelines.

I agree that Level is still minorly at fault and deserves a warning or a mute at max seeing as Chainsaw Man was released recently and so spoiling it isn’t a nice thing but it doesn’t justify the baseless and predatory ban by shade
